Week #1 Photography Class

I'm taking a photography class this summer to expand my skill-set. I have to admit that the first two days of classes made me want to drop after spending two days of 2.5 hours just critiquing artists, that wasn't what I thought I was signing up for. I want to learn more about camera operation and PhotoShop. I did finally get what I wanted on day 3 when we started talking about all the technical information and we got to put it to practice right away. Here are a few pictures from my studies:

After much debate, Chris and I took the plunge and committed to getting a new(ish) car.  We bought a 2011 used Kia Forte, it already has 36,200 miles on it. Chris thinks it is our new toy since it has much more technology than our former vehicles.  Now to make sure he gets his car sold!

I became a member of Planet Fitness and I am one happy client!

I got to try out their 30 minute workout express which is perfect for me and I LOVED the hydro massage beds!! (That alone makes it worth the $20/mo I will pay)

Christina's Shower

My aunts and I hosted Christina's bridal shower.  She had an absolutely gorgeous day for the event, we sat outside it was only about 75 degrees. We started by playing some games, then ended with a ice cream bar and cake pops.  Christina's wedding is in July.  She is very lucky to have so many people surrounding her that love her!  See some fun pictures of the day below:

Chris and I attended a lovely outdoor wedding on Saturday for my cousin Tony and his new wife Meghan.

Cooper had his last walk with his friend Nala. He didn't have a clue but Nala is moving to Ohio. She has been a good neighbor.
