Puppy-sitting and more

This week has been going by so fast.

Last night, Chris and I watched Remember Me- I highly recommend it but plan to think about the movie basically non-stop after you watch it. Yesterday, I got to take Nala on a walk with Cooper. They were hilarious to watch run around the park. The only other thing I accomplished yesterday was to apply for DHS. It is a bit scary to think about having to drive that far as well as trying to figure out what I want to do... but choices are limited. I'm still wishing for that perfect job but trusting that God knows what is best. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Another great weekend

Friday turned out to be a fantastic day because I passed my PBF test with 100% and then got out 4 hours early. I then went garage-saling... which I fell in love with doing this summer. I ACTUALLY found pants in Chris' size at a garage sale that were barely worn- this is a small miracle!! Carah came over and entertained me for a while- we swam, ate out, and watched Good Will Hunting. This was the first time I had seen this movie and I loved it!

Saturday, I spent most of the day hanging out with the Painters and we got to eat out- alot! I got to go to Cocomero for the second time ever- great ice cream!!!

Today, Chris and I had a fun day enjoying the weather which felt absolutely beautiful after it was 110 yesterday! After church, we at out at V. Picasso and he really liked Tapas. I'm hoping for a relaxing, yet productive, week. I am also hoping to hear some interview offers as I applied to a few schools yesterday! Fingers crossed!

First blog

Hi happy readers! This is my first blog using blogspot. I plan to occassionally update events going on in my life. Hopefully, it will be somewhat interesting to read.

Currently, I am in my office and I've just gotten back from taken Cooper on a walk. I am taking a brain break, aka procrastinating, studying for a test tomorrow. I am wanting to become PBF certified. This stands for Positive Behavior Facilitation. This is a philosophy for teaching and living life that leads myself and others to choose behavior change. As a teacher, this is very important as the alternative is to manage behavior and put out fires. I'm hoping this makes a little sense, but I am very tired.

This summer has been so blessed! I am sad that there are only 3 weeks remaining. I am still looking for a job and God only knows where that'll be. Ideally, it will be in a self-contained Elementary school where I have my OWN classroom. However, as long as I've got support from others, I'd be happy to have a fulfilling job, pay check and insurance.

Well that is all for the first post, but hopefully there will be more.
